Shawn is no stranger to the music industry having released over 10 artists albums to date and a collaborations list to make your eyes pop out.
He took time out from being a rockstar to make this classic percussion album in his London studio 'Trans Yank'. When I went around, the cigarette pack was still taped to the congas making a rattle sound on Cajon On The Range, as were the pots and pans that his wife had called me to ask him to bring home. To the industry Nicolas Scaravilli (aka Kid Creme) is an innovator. To some a genius. He single-handedly kicked off a style of funky house that spawned a genre of house music. Content with only releasing a record every 2 years he certainly cannot be described as over exposed. To have the privilege of releasing an album of 11 tracks from such a tastemaker is reason to celebrate indeed.
